WOLF guitarist's Niklas 'Viper' Stalvind and Johannes 'Axe' Axeman

WOLF is an amazing metal band that hails from Orebro, Switzerland. This is hard driving riff laden heavy metal of the highest quality. With the relentless two guitar attack from Niklas ‘Viper’ Stalvind and Johannes ‘Axe’ Axeman reminiscent of Thin Lizzy, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, the gritty piercing vocals of Niklas backed up by Axe and the solid hard driving rhythm section of Anders ‘Tornado’ Modd (bass) and Richard ‘Raptor’ Holmgren (drums) WOLF is some serious vintage heavy metal with a modern Swedish twist.

Ravenous was recorded in Studio Seven in Orebro, the bands hometown and was produced by legendary producer/musician Roy Z who has worked with a few other pretty good bands and artists like…you know Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson and Rob Halford to name a few. The opening track, ‘Speed On’ gets things going and sets the stage for an onslaught of non stop metal including ‘Hiding In Shadows’ the tasteful ‘Blood Angel’ and ominous ‘Voodoo’ this record never lets up. Ravenous is a modern metal masterpiece that should be on every Heavy Metal fan’s ipod, trust me.
