Heaven Is Gone

If you haven’t heard of them yet, allow me to turn you on to the awesome hard rocking band ‘Seventh Void‘ on Big Vin Records, Vinnie Paul’s label. Their debut album ‘Heaven Is Gone‘ released April 21st, 2009 is loaded with great new heavy metal material in the same vain as early Black Sabbath. The first single ‘Heaven Is Gone‘ video can be viewed below.

The band consists of former Type O Negative members Kenny Hickey (Vocals/Guitar) and Johnny Kelly (Drums), Matt Brown (Guitar) of Uranium 235 and Supermassive, and Hank Hell (Bass) of Inhuman. The idea for the group was originally conceived in 2003 by Kenny and Johnny, but the band’s personnel was not solidified until 2005. The name ‘Seventh Void‘ is from a line in the poem Inferno (Dante)
