Beyond The Lighted Stage

The new RUSH documentary ‘Beyond The Lighted Stage‘ premiers tonight at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. It will premier at the Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival in Toronto this Thursday April 29th. ‘Beyond The Lighted Stage‘ will get its television premiere on VH1 and VH1 Classic on June 26th. According to the official Banger Films blog the film will appear in select theaters for one night only on Thursday, June 10th and be released on DVD June 29th. How AWESOME is that, I can’t wait to see this documentary. Check out the three trailers of the new film below.

RUSH will be touring North America this summer for the ‘Time Machine Tour’ which will include the band performing their 1981 record ‘Moving Pictures‘ in it’s entirety to celebrate the 30th anniversary of it’s release. RUSH is also recording a new record and will release two songs from that project in the near future. I have my tickets, how about you?

I am also hearing rumors of a Hollywood RockWalk Of Fame induction coming sometime this summer, maybe when they play their Los Angeles shows in August. I will let everyone know when I hear anything about an induction date.
